The lodge held a grand opening on January 28 and is housed in a historic landmark building built in 1941 and served as the Bachelor Officer's Quarters until 1984. The building was also used and featured as an emergency medical center during the attack on Pearl Harbor. In the movie "Tora! Tora! Tora!"
